User Data Deletion
Last updated: 22 September 2026
You may ask Mudra Educational and Charitable Foundation to delete personal information connected with you. Follow the steps below so we can locate the correct records and handle your request safely.
1. Send your request
Email info@mudrango.com from the email address you previously used to contact Mudra, where possible. Use the subject line “Data Deletion Request”.
- Provide your full name and the email address or telephone number associated with your enquiry.
- Tell us how you interacted with Mudra, such as through a programme enquiry, application, volunteer interest, partnership or donation.
- Describe the information you want deleted. You may request deletion of specific records or all personal information we are not required to retain.
- Do not send identity documents, financial details or other sensitive information unless we specifically request them through an appropriate method.
2. Identity verification
We may need to confirm that the request comes from you or from a person legally authorised to act for you. Verification helps prevent another person from deleting your information without permission. We will request only the information reasonably needed for this check.
3. Review and deletion
After verification, we will search the relevant records and review what can be deleted. We will process valid requests within a reasonable period and confirm when the review is complete. If we need additional information or more time, we will explain why.
- Contact enquiries and general correspondence no longer needed for an active matter.
- Programme, volunteer or partnership interest records that are no longer required.
- Communication preferences and optional contact information.
- Other personal information that Mudra has no lawful or necessary reason to retain.
4. Information we may need to retain
Some information may not be deleted immediately where retention is reasonably necessary or required by applicable law. This may include financial or donation records, records needed to establish or defend legal claims, safeguarding records, fraud-prevention information, or information required to complete an existing obligation.
- Where deletion is restricted, we will explain the reason when appropriate.
- Information retained for a required purpose will not be used for unrelated activities.
- Copies in secure backups may remain until those backups are replaced through the normal retention cycle.
- Anonymous information that can no longer identify you may be retained for reporting and programme improvement.
5. Requests concerning a child
A parent, legal guardian or authorised institution may submit a request concerning a child. We may ask for information needed to confirm the requester’s authority and protect the child’s privacy before taking action.
6. Confirmation and questions
We will send our response to the verified contact address. Data deletion requests are generally handled without charge, although repeated or clearly unreasonable requests may be managed as permitted by applicable law. If you have questions or wish to correct or access information instead, contact us using the same email address.
Questions about this policy may be sent to info@mudrango.com.
